About the Coach

Basketball Coach Craig Jackson

Craig Jackson is a former ABA professional basketball player. He finished his collegiate basketball in 2009 at SDCC (El Cajon Ca.)

Craig is a local product and former Alumni of Eastlake High School Class of 2004. Born April 26, 1986, in Indianapolis Indiana, Craig spent his first 9 years growing up in Indianapolis. It was there that he learned to love the game of basketball. In 1995 Craig’s family decided to relocate to Southern California. Here his hard work, dedication, and love for the game propelled him to many accolades, lifetime friendships, and positive experiences.

It is these positive experiences that Craig now wishes to duplicate for today's youth through Hoop Haven. As a father of four, Craig’s passion for basketball and today’s youth is extended through his own family. Craig began training his son at the early age of 4. Once his son was old enough for local Rec leagues,

Craig began Volunteer work as a coach and mentor around the community. What once began as high-level training for his son soon became training for community youth of all ages and skill levels.
